David teaches weekly private lessons on saxophone, flute, clarinet, and bass clarinet. His focus is on the fundamentals of each instrument, including tone, pitch, and rhythm. He is well versed in classical, pop, rock, latin, and jazz styles and can effectively mentor young musicians in each genre.
In his thirteen years of experience as a private instructor, Dave has worked with all ages and abilities. Every year he helps place students in honor band and all state band. His students are also excelling at band programs throughout the region, including Walton High School, Sprayberry High School, Wheeler High School, Lassiter High School, Roswell High School, Centennial High School, Dodgen Middle School, Dickerson Middle School, Hightower Middle School, Crabapple Middle School, and St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School.
